Title: anyone have this?
Post by angiebaby on Oct 28th, 2007, 12:51pm

I don't think i have been doing to bad lately with my ectopics, not too many a day, upto about 4 or 5.  Which is great i know.
But for some reason these past couple of days whenever i have taken a deep breath in i get a couple of hard and big ectopics.  I was minding my own business earlier in the kitchen and when ever i took a breath in WALLOP, there they were again.  Not at any other time though, just when i take a deep breath.  Just wondered if this was also classed as normal because it is not very nice.x

Okay, remember our little anatomy lesson; the Vagus nerve innervates the GI tract, the heart, the larnyx . . . .... .. and the Lungs.

So purposeful changes in the way that you breathe, pressure against the diaphragm and the presence of stress, etc. can cause palpitations to occur.

Not a sign of trouble at all. You'll be just fine.

Best regards and Good Health

Hi

I get this sometimes, try and remember what RLR said when it happens and that helps keep a rational reaction to them.

Hi, thanks, i do try and i do try and ignore it too, but not good at it i'm afraid and they do still bother me.  Still get ectopics each day but getting more now when i am standing and take in a deep breathe.  These are more powerful too, give me more of a kick.
Hope you are well.x
