Title: Re: exercise :D Post by martinpetersen on Dec 26th, 2010, 9:01am When you start, it's a good idea to change between running and walking. Maybe run 2 min's, then walk 2 min's! Maybe 2 Miles the first time. Then see how it feels. Don't run every day. Restitute by making no-run-days. Good luck. |
Title: Re: exercise :D Post by Andrea on Dec 26th, 2010, 6:49pm Well, if your palpitations are stress-induced, exercise has been shown to cause a reduction in stress.. so it might help your palps if that is the case :) My fiance bought me some really nice workout clothes for Christmas. I *was* working out until the palpitations started and since then I've been a little nervous about getting back to it. I think I'll start the New Year out with taking long walks, then work my way up to something more intensive. Best of luck to you :) |
Title: Re: exercise :D Post by Typer on Dec 27th, 2010, 3:22am Before I fractured my foot a few weeks ago, I had started dance. At forst it seemed to incite more palps, but after a few days it seemed to calm them a lot. Let us know how you get on |
