Aug 23rd, 2007, 7:08am

Hi  In my last post i went up a very steep hill on my bike and at the top my heart went into a run of missing beats which scared me to death!  It has put me off exercising a bit....anyway today i thought i would take the plunge and do it again this time i wore a heart rate strap to see what my heart was doing   i couldnt beleive it got up to 171   but no missed beats this time Smiley

Wow - you're really brave Carol - well done!!!

I'm sure I would have gone into complete avoidance mode (I wouldn't even know cos I can't remember the last time I exercised  - because of avoidance and lots of excuses  Embarrassed!!)

Getting back up the hill was just the right thing to do - brilliant!

Oh how wonderful, congratulations to you!
If my heart goes as fast as 120, which it often does, i start to panic, so your heart rate would have sent me into overload, lol.
You did brilliant.xx

well done cazza.
that is exactly what my cardiologist told me to try. he says when your heart is going at its maximum it paces out the irregular beats.
The trouble is I am not sure I want to be exercising or running all day and night just to be free of them Smiley
