I have been brave today - went to the gym today for an assessment. I have never been to a gym before and I am 39 and not proud of this. Felt panicky on the exercise bike at the start and thought my heart was going funny... but when I went back on the bike at the end of the half an hour, it was fine.

If I can do it, so can any of you. I'm not going to lose weight, but hopefully it might help the anxiety / panic / palpitations. That is my BIG GOAL!

Well done Bead!

I really want to start exercising again but have to take it slowly because of the CFS stuff as I am very unfit now. So I try to make sure I walk every day at least.
I'm sure you'll find that this will help with the palps, not only from a fitness point of view but also because if you're fine at the gym this should help you to believe that your heart is healthy.
Keep at it!!
