Hi everyone!
Sep 02nd, 2008, 5:34am

I just wanted to say that I am doing a lot better.  I still get the extra beats/palpitations but they are settling down and I am learning to not run from them with fear and realize why they happen.

I do believe that anxiety is a sole contributor in getting these.  And the more we worry the more palpitations we will get and it takes that much longer for them to settle down.  We must not "feed them" our anxiety and instead feed them "calmness."

I just wanted to thank you all for your support.

Especially RLR.  As a physician he definitely know his stuff and I trust in his opinions and respect that he does not bandy his words and explains things in a manner we can understand.  Thanks RLR for your continued support.  You are honestly helping so many people.  And I am one of them you have helped.

My advice (although trust me I am still learning to cope myself) is to not let the pvc's ruin your lives.  I know they are frightening at times when they are frequent and you think they will never go away.  But they will come and go, and stress/anxiety/worry is a big contributor to these.  It's a big feedback loop.  Anxiety=pvc's=worry=anxiety=thus more pvc's and the cycle continues over and over until you look at the "root" problem.  Which is anxiety disorders.

I am wishing you all well!!
