Hi Guys
Sep 09th, 2008, 6:57pm

I have been stuggling with the anxiety and depression lately but NO Palp problems, well one or two but nothing to worry about.    I am continuing in Talk therapy and trying to change my behavior paterns a bit.  One thing I have learned is don't let this or anything else stop you.  It's a hard concept to learn , and even though there is fear of Palps  , you must continue on in life and try to enjoy it.  We aren't promised tomorrow.  One thing is for sure, and I don't mean to scare anyone, but we all one day will go to our great reward, we don't know when that will be .. so  try and stay in the moment ,  take it one moment at a time, one day at at time.     Take pleasure in the smile on your child's or grandchild's face.
Enjoy your spouse's company or your parent's or whoever your loved ones are.

These things are easy to say, hard to master  but don't quit trying.

Hey RLR   thanks for your advice and getting me through my tough times this summer you are wonderful.

By the way Kevin, it looks as though you are a MusicianSmiley  What kind of music do you play?  In the early 80's I dated a Musician, Michael Damian (also a Soap Star, but I've always hated Soap Operas!), so I've been intrigued by music ever since.  In a couple of weeks I'm going to see Journey, Heart and Cheap Trick in concer, very excited about that!

Take care,
Karen

hi Karen:

Yes  I play a little guitar in a local band called misbehavin'    ,  we do a lot of original music and some cover songs from 70's 80's and a few from the present..   check us out at www.misbehavinmusiconline.com
Thanks for the good words...  I just want to try and give a positive light to all this.   I was a mess this summer, and I wouldn't listen to anyone about it, but suddenly  I decided I needed to trust in what  The Cardiologist told me and what RLR said.   So  now it isn't always an easy path, but I am really trying hard to change my old fearful habbits into positive thinking and actions.. again not easy.. but important to get to the bottom of what causes all my anxiety and fears..    Interesting enough  one thing that may have triggered alot of my fears was when I had my tonsils out at age 4.  Back then they didn't exactly spend a lot of time explaining or getting a child used to the surroundings .    I remember practically being torn from my mother's arms,  placed on a gourney and wheeled away briskly to the O.R.    In there I struggled and an assistant sat held my legs down as the doctor administered ether.     Well that traumatic incident could explain a lot of my health anxieties ,  at least that is one angle my therapist and I are working on.

It is interesting exploring the  posibilities and maybe one day I will get a really good grip on all of this.

In the mean time,  we all have to try and let go just a little of our fear each day, and walk towards enjoying and happiness.

I really am Thankful that we have this forum and that we are fortunate to have a kind gentleman who is willing to explain and help.  I hope that this continues and that everyone on the forum continues to support each other.

See you soon and I hope you enjoy the music..
Best regards
Kevin
