Well, we're certainly sorry to hear the news. Burkitt's lymphoma, a form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, accounts for nearly 50% of all cancers in children.

It is particularly aggressive and likewise, requires aggressive chemotherapy.

All my best to the child and their family.

Best regards and Good Health

Sorry to hear that - that is always hard news to hear.
I hope the doctors can treat it and bring better news to the family and friends.

To update you on Nathan, he may go home soon, the fluid on the ventrical on his brain has stopped so the stent is out. They are fighting diabete sinsipidis from what is going on with him. They think maybe there is a spot on his pancreas, but the chemo for the brain tumors is also what will treat it. There will be a long treatment of chemo (8 mo), keep praying and thanks for the kind words. Smiley

Nathan's chemo is not working, so they have stopped it. The tumor is getting larger. The are trying a new treatment called blood brain barrior distortion. We pray it works.

The MRI shows that the tumors are almost not detectable. He will continue the treatment, what wonderful news. Wink
