Hi RLR

Many Thanks for your response, I doubt that the pheochromocytoma would be present as I had an abdominal scan about a year ago , blood tests and my BP is normal. This was suggested to have a scan by my GP due to this uncomfortable feeling in my abdomen.
Out of determination not to give in to this thing I went for a 3 mile walk last night on my own in temperatures of around -10 in the snow, like an arctic explorer! I live in Worcestershire England and where I am its quite remote so this added to the excitement, I felt fantastic upon my return. I am a healthy 42 year old, not overweight but I used to smoke (not heavy 40 per week) and this may have affected adrenaline levels over the years.

I am going to increase my exercise regime to get back to 30 minutes CV per day with weights as well. I will monitor my episodes but as I am used to I will have to live with it and just except that it won’t kill me anytime soon! Being that your a Neurologist I can’t help thinking that Lariam has something to do with the way my nervous system works after I took the medication whilst travelling the world many years ago!

I hope you have a jolly good Christmas, best wishes

Lee
