RLR - question regarding tachycardia
Jan 19th, 2011, 4:49am

RLR - just a question about my tachycardia episodes that I have.  Things have actually been better with my tachycardia.  I do shovel snow now and my pulse does go way up, but I try to reassure myself and not panic that this is due to exertion and I usually can calm myself.  This morning, I had just been up for awhile and sitting in my kitchen when I heard my dog getting sick.  So, went to her and I could feel my pulse starting to get rapid, bent over to clean a spot up, and my my heart started pounding like I used to get a lot and it did scare me.  It's the tachycardia you can hear in your ears because of the pounding.  I sat down and fanned myself and tried to reassure myself that this was just a built up of stress, and it slowed down within a couple of minutes.  I guess I am just looking for some reassurance.  It's always scary when that happens and I haven't had alot of trouble with that.  It's like you lose a little confidence in yourself.  Then you start thinking, is this just the stress or is this going to start happening a lot again?  Just looking for some reassurance.  I have to take the dog out soon, and when this happens, it kind of starts the scared feeling of not wanting to exert myself again.
