What is the role of the diaphragm in the proces of inducing "palps"?

I often sense a kind of "nervous feeling" around/in/nearby the diaphragm simultaneously with extrasystoles.

Is the diaphragm for some reason especially sensible to/from affections of the vagus nerve?
