Anxiety Question
Jan 31st, 2012, 3:07pm

RLR...its funny because with your information and what I have done to learn that these benign palpitations arent harmful I have been able to relax and my anxiety over these palpitations and the palpitations themselves are almost non existent!  With that said because I did not know this information before I have developed pretty significant anxiety and so now I find that instead of anxiety over these palpitations I have anxiety over dizziness.  I feel dizzy constantly.  I thought that since my anxiety over the palpitations was almost gone that I would be better all around and that is just not the case.

What have I done to myself?  Its been 7 years of this and I am afraid that I have changed my body chemistry to the point where it is irreversible?  I have come a long way to the point where I am not afraid of the occasional palpitations that i get.  In fact since I am not afraid any more I have gone from having thousands a day to hardly any.  But I am still having anxiety daily and seem to be focusing on this dizziness which I hate.

Any advice would be truly appreciated!

Jamie

Hi Jamie,

I had a long spell (18 months) of feeling dizzy every day. It felt worse in certain lighting and at times it was similar to being intoxicated. This still happens very occasionally and seems to be very common in anxiety, stress etc.

I was helped by coming here, and then later reading Dr. Clare Weeks' book Essential Help for your Nerves. I felt she and RLR saves my sanity
