Palpitation after jogging in the morning
Nov 18th, 2012, 10:46pm

Hi Everybody here,

Whenever i start jogging in the morning my heart beat raises abnormally. Its not during jogging or after jogging immediately i feel palpitation. It usually happens after few hours or when i lay down on bed at noon or at night i feel my heart is beating at more than normal rate and its not controlled.

Surprisingly, this issue only happens after few days whenever i start jogging in the morning.  In addition to this when i run more rounds it effects my mood as well i start feeling sad during the whole day. Is there any solution of my problem.

THanks in Advance

Okay, I've read your posting and concerns. Initially, I'm going to ask for clarification here. You say when you start jogging that your heart rate increases abnormally, but does not occur during exercise but rather later in the day or evening and most often when lying down in bed. If I understand correctly, please elaborate regarding the use of the term "uncontrolled." Is the rate rapid and does it suddenly occur and continue for a period of time before returning to normal sinus rhythm?

Also, please indicate your age and also tell me what your heart rate is immediately following exercise and how long it takes before your heart rate begins to fall and return to normal. Have you undergone a stress test and echocardiogram and has the issue described here been previously brought to the attention of your primary care physician? If so, what tests have been performed and what are the results?

I would also like you to elaborate on your comment regarding feeling dysphoric, or sad, on days when you exercise more frequently or more intensely. Is the sadness accompanied by fatigue or feeling sleepy?

Generally, you need to provide more detailed information and remember that the forum here is not intended to supplant the direct evaluation of your medical complaints by your primary care physician or specialist. Once you've provided more detailed information, we can discuss your concerns more completely.

Best regards,

Hi

thanks for your reply,

Its not when i am doing jogging, i feel increase heart beat after some time when i have completed my jogging or at some other times as i have already mentioned
I am 30 years old and i dont have any heart problem at all. This palpitation condition only occurs during the days when i am jogging and when i quit jogging then palpitation disappears in 2 or 3 days.
Also what i have observed is whenever i jogging more than 2 km. Sadness means feeling low and sometime sleepy as well. I usually take 8 hours sleep

Jogging, as well as other exercises, is a major contributor to the build up of lactic acid.  I've been researching palps professionally for 7 years.  For those who have been given a clean bill of health by their doctors RE: their heart condition, I've found the cause to be primarily related to internal inflammation.  Internal inflammation results any time the acid/alkaline balance is thrown off.

I have an entire site dedicated to exposing the cure.  My advice is to stop fussing over the symptoms, and start addressing the causes.

Nick.

Okay, thank you for the clarification. The best approach in such an instance is to arrange for a holter monitor with your primary care physician or specialist to determine the nature of the symptoms you are describing. By doing so, the latent patterns can be evaluated to determine their nature. I doubt that that they constitute anything of concern, but this approach would be most suited to reach the most accurate diagnosis.
