Has anyone ever heard of or tried drinking aloe Vera gel to help with heart palpitations?

I bought some Lilly of the Dessert brand gel and have been drinking one ounce twice a day and it hasn't seemed to take them away but initially after drinking it it seems to make me feel better. But they come back not to long after. I was just curious if this has worked for anyone.
