Palls at night!
Apr 21st, 2013, 6:55am

Hi all
Have recently been waking up in the middle of the night with palps, I have a more forceful heart beat but it is still within the "normal" Bpm range and beating Normal rythm as much as I can tell.
Does anyone else suffer from these palps with normal Bpm? As I unsure wether it deserves a trip to my GP.

Hi, sounds like night terror. You might not even realise that you had an adrenaline filled dream. I've had this a lot.

In all my years researching heart problems I've never heard of a condition where symptoms only appear at night. Imo its completely normal, however I'm not a medical practitioner.

Thanks for reply!
But really? Even with a slow heartbeat?

Slow pounding heartbeat at night laying down is usually because of the effect that gravity has on your body. Search around the forum, RLR talks about this a lot. I'm 99.9% sure its normal. I've managed to survive 4+ ears with the same symptom.
