Hi all
I'm a moderator on here (not sure why I still am, as I no longer visit regularly, but only drop by from time to time to see all is well).

To fill you in, I have no contact with rlr outside of the forum so I am as in the dark as you all. But whatever is the situation, what I do know is that rlr's words are always here for you to read, and you are not alone. rlr's straight talking and informative replies from all his previous postings are a valuable resource even if he is not here to talk to us today or tomorrow, or in future. (Of course we hope he will be!)

Just about every question you have ever had about funny heartbeats, palpitations, odd feelings in the chest - I guarantee you are not the first person to have that fear, that feeling, that concern. There is an absolute treasure trove of information and support to read through on this site. It's just a matter of believing it.

I've come a long way with my palpitations - I get ectopics every day, every minute, and perhaps they will never go away. I also have an irregular heartbeat (permanent t-wave inversion - no-one knows why) and I no longer let these things get to me. Okay, I have my moments, and I get that they are uncomfortable and not very nice, but I really don't care about them most of the time. And if I can get to that stage, so can you! Smiley

Hi all
I am a moderator, and have been for some time, not quite sure why I still have these privileges as many old hands are far more active and helpful than me (they will know who they are). I hardly visit these days - still suffer from palps, but find it better to ignore them, exercise hard and know they can't harm me.

I am going to post a new thread as not all will read this one. And I would like to say a few things.

This is not my forum nor is it operated by chemicalforums. It is operated soley by RLR. I lend technical assistance to RLR for free. Chemicalforums supplied free hosting as a favor to me. The forum will be put into read only mode because RLR is not here to operate it.

Hi Nettie

8 yrs ago is a bit long.
Its not uncommon to have palps after and also during exercising.

If you feel unsure and it is 8 yrs ago, why not schedule a stress test?
Not because i think there is something wrong, but it can give you the peace of mind to keep exercising which is good.

note. I'm no MD or GP.. And exercising is good when you build this up slowly and gradually and not exert yourself too much. Keep hydrated as well and never ever exercise  with some fever.

interesting to see this forum years later. Wish RLR was still among us. For his sake and for me to tell him he was dead wrong when he kept telling me it was hypochondriac and anxiety (my symptoms).  in 2016-2017 i got diagnosed by a professor i had severe dysautonomia!  Due to all the delay in diagnoses by doctors (cause they did not know much about this disease and their unwillingless to BELIEVE THEY CAN BE WRONG) my physical state was and is beyond any possibility to really recover. I was told a wheelchair was and is 90% in the cards and getting back to a bit of normal life would be 10 % at most..

yep..a true hypochondriac i was..
All my symptoms were explained by my dysautonomia!

For anyone who likes to know.. i am still beating the odds! (professor told me because i was/am mentaly so strong to endure my symptoms physically).  Times and opinions do change  Wink

hope you are all safe and healthy!

Nettie welcome to the forum.....if you go back and read some post from RLR you will see many times that he states that if you have been given the ALL CLEAR and had the test then you are fine and suffering from Benign Palps.....you can exercise all you want.  You are alerting your nervous system to a danger that just doesnt exist so until you prove 100% to your subconscious that there is no reason to be afraid of these palps then you will continue to experience them and be afraid of them.....you have had them for 20 years and what, other then your worry and anxiety, have you suffered from.  Go out and live your life and have fun!  Read through this site and understand that there is no risk from these palps.

I hope this helps!

No word from RLR on my end. There are 2 moderators now for one purpose only; to delete spam messages from the forum. There are no new admins only 2 new MODERATORS. This is temporary until RLR returns or the forum is shut down (put into read only mode). If the persons who are moderators do not wish to do this, let me know and I will change your status.

Thank you,

David

Hi everyone!
I'm new to this forum, and I'm so glad to have found such great info regarding issues w/ PVC's. I've been suffering from them for almost 20 years now, and like many of you, they come and go with no rhyme or reason. I saw a cardiologist 8 years ago- I had an EKG and cardiac cath done, and I was told my heart was healthy. Of course, as time goes by, I always consider going back for a visit.. just in case things have changed! Roll Eyes The anxiety related to these extra beats is so unnerving... but moving on...

My question is: Does anyone here get more PVC's during and/or after a workout session? I find that every time I get into a workout routine, my PVC's become more intense. I find that during my workout, if PVC's start, my workout stops due to anxiety of a strained heart, and I get so frustrated because I genuinely want to work out on a regular basis! Should I just ignore the PVC's and continue my workout? BTW, cardiologist gave me the "all clear" to work out 8 years ago, but it would be nice to get some pointers from PVC sufferers that understand what this feels like.

Thanks for any advice!

I wanted to know if anybody had any information to offer up regarding Dr. Rane's disappearance.

Based on the feedback I've received from others both on the forums and via PMs, I've concluded it is best not to speculate about his whereabouts unless more information is available. Since we have none, all we can do is guess which is a waste of time. My thread was also locked for this reason.
