Im Pregnant rlr i need your help please

Hello Rlr and everyone im 4/5weeks pregnant just found out im very concerned because im still taking beta blocker- bisoprolol 1.25mg. twice daily scared to take it tonight now .Im off to the doctor in the morning for advice but its worrying me i started decreasing the dose about 2 months ago as i explained to my doctor that i wanted to try for a baby and ive gotten pregnant qucker than i expected .Im only on a low dose so im trying to stay postive ,im praying .everythinks going to be okay.Would you think it would be best just to take the one for today or carry on with 2 really not sure .any help would be nice .Thanks very much for listening and all the best Cx

Okay, this is the sort of question that you must pose directly to the prescribing physician. While there are contraindications regarding use of this drug while lactating or pregnant, your primary care doctor needs to be made aware of the circumstances and subsequently provide direction to you.

While the forum exists to provide supportive medical information and discussion of symptoms related to palpitations, diagnostic tests, procedures and similar matters, seeking advice about whether or not to take medications must naturally be addressed by the prescribing doctor.

A good rule of thumb when making inquiry on the forum is to assure that your question has already been posed to your doctor and guidance or instruction provided. The forum is merely a source for gaining a better understanding of medical issues which you may be experiencing and that have already been initially addressed by your primary care doctor or specialist.

Yes RLR thank you i understand what you are saying and i will be seeing my doctor in the morning first thing ive only taken 1 bisoprolol today in hope that i will be able to just knock them off the head and be ok.Im sorry i just flew off the handle and started worrying im going to be positive .thanks once againx chantel
