arrhythmia
Dec 08th, 2010, 2:29pm

I have been thru the ringer the past year and a half.....I had my first panic attack in 08/09....its been down hill since then.

I was convinced it was a heart attack....or some kind of a heart problem.

I have had several EKGs, an Echo, A stress teset (it come back with shadows) I hear thats common with women....so he did a heart cath to be safe....all clear

I still get occasional (1-3 a week) palpitations...and sometimes chest pain.

I have convinced myself I do not have heart disease but what abot an arrhythmia?

I'm sure your other tests would have ruled them out based on the lack of other symptoms etc.

I'd kick back, relax and enjoy the fact there'll be a tomorrow Smiley

When you say arrhythmia, can you describe what happens? I am guessing that RLR will be more interested in your symptoms than the label

Once or Twice a week...I have palpitations...a flutter in my middle chest. Sometimes after i eat, sometiems when i lay on my left side, and sometiems just out of the blue. I never pass out or anything....just makes me feel weird and I kinda catch my breathe. Occasionally I have had a big kinda thud in my chest....scarey.

Ah, so like all of us, you get the differing palps. Most of us get all of those and more. I would say, though RLR would have to clarify this, that this is not arrhythmia per se, but heart palpitations.

The fluttering ones are not so nice a sensation and for a few moments the heart is going fast. The thuds have become part of my everyday life and I find them less disturbing

Hi Mich4416

Take a look at nearly every other post on this forum and your question will be answered, especially those with 'help RLR' or similar in the subject field.

Also take a look in the other forum (General Discussions) and read the Heart Palpitation 101 threads.  There're 6 of them and walks one through exactly what palps are, what's happening etc etc.
