When you have transient symptoms does this mean it is sometimes during a day? and is only present for minutes a day...?  or can this be 20 hours of the day and maybe not present for 4 hours. ?

When is it chronic?  when it is there 24 hours a day.. and never leaves for a second or minute?

Transient is phenomenon which is present for a brief period that can demonstrate either static or dynamic intensity. By example, a cold virus is transient, with symptoms typically lasting 5 to 7 days. The symptoms themselves can vary within this period from mild to florid.

Chronicity is essentially present continuously and again, if speaking of symptoms, can be present in a static or dynamic form over the course of time.
